TCNJ Engineering Students Make Semi-Finals for Mayo Business Plan Competition

Congratulations to the following TCNJ Engineering students on teams that have made it to the semi-finals of the 2020 Mayo Business Plan Competition!
Alzheimer’s Initiative
Alzheimer’s Initiative is a mobile app for caregivers, Alzheimer’s patients, and individuals who believe they could be at risk with Alzheimer’s. We hope to provide convenient risk assessment testing for users, to promote awareness of the disease, and enhance the quality of life of both patients and caregivers. The app will bridge the gap between health care professionals and patients allowing for better communication and faster prognoses by providing a simple solution to track, manage, and communicate symptoms.

The Vortex

The Vortex is a device that provides an innovative way of maintaining and disposing waste fishing line. Recreational fishing maintains an important role in sustainable management of resources, economic development, and data collection. It is vital to limit pollution and continue working towards sustainable recreational fishing habits. The Vortex allows recreational anglers a quick and easy way to help limit their environmental footprint and keep our waters pollution-free.
