Engineering Honor Society Welcomes Newest Members

Twenty-three new members were recently initiated into The College of New Jersey’s Tau Beta Pi chapter. The TCNJ Zeta chapter was founded in 2013 and currently has over 200 members including active members and alumni.

The Tau Beta Pi Association is the oldest engineering honor society. The society honors students in US collegiate institutions who have demonstrated academic excellence as well as a commitment to personal and professional integrity. Tau Beta Pi’s public motto is “Integrity and Excellence in Engineering.” Potential candidates are primarily selected on the basis of their academic performance: this includes the top 1/8 of the junior class and the top 1/5 of the senior class. In order to be initiated, these candidates must then demonstrate “exemplary character through service to their alma mater and their community”.

Congratulations to the newest inductees of TCNJ’s Tau Beta Pi chapter:

Paul Brodhead Daniel Hanna Eliza Sweet
