The Paul A. Canton & Ruth D. Canton Engineering Scholarship is awarded annually to a currently enrolled School of Engineering student. The recipient of the Paul A. Canton, Sr. ’43 and Ruth D. Canton ’45 Engineering Scholarship must have graduated from high school in one of seven counties in southern New Jersey – Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Salem, Cumberland, Cape May, or Atlantic Counties.
Recipients will be selected based on academic merit and financial need.*
If you are interested in applying for The Paul A. Canton, Sr. ’43 and Ruth D. Canton ’45 Engineering Scholarship, include overall educational and career goals, commitment to and leadership in the engineering profession, and any special circumstances causing financial need* in the application. The student’s academic performance at TCNJ will also be used to select a finalist.
As long as the recipient maintains eligibility, the scholarship will automatically renew without the need for additional applications in future years.
*In order to demonstrate financial need, the federal financial aid FASFA form needs to be submitted to TCNJ in addition to the letter mentioned above.
This scholarship has already been awarded for the 2023 – 2024 academic year.
