Congratulations to the Fall 2022 inductees of Chi Epsilon, the Civil Engineering Honor Society! Among those inducted at the end of last semester were six undergraduates and two alumni. Dean Andrea Welker of TCNJ Engineering was also inducted as a distinguished Honor Member.
Founded in 1922, Chi Epsilon honors exceptional students and professionals of Civil Engineering and seeks to advance the profession as a whole. TCNJ’s chapter hosts events on campus such as technical seminars and community service initiatives.
To be eligible for induction into the TCNJ chapter of Chi Epsilon, students must be in the top third of their junior or senior class with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The national organization states “students and professionals are selected to become members based on recognition of their scholarship, character, practicality and sociability, considered by Chi Epsilon to be the four primary traits of a successful engineer.”
