The Engineering Honor Society, Tau Beta Pi, recently hosted their annual Thanksgiving Tower Challenge. This is a fun and interesting community service event that integrates engineering. Students have been collecting canned goods for the past month to be donated to the local food bank. Various professional engineering societies worked together to build the tallest tower possible using the canned goods collected over the past month.
This year, 126.6 pounds of food were collected. All proceeds were donated to the Mercer Street Friends Food Bank to support the Trenton/Ewing community during the Thanksgiving holiday season.
