Our project is a security system that detects motion through an infrared sensor and sends push notifications to users through a mobile app available on IOS and Android.

There are many devices currently on the market that detect motion but not many include an app that gives you notifications when motion is detected. The ones that do have a companion app are often very expensive and their app requires a subscription fee. Our device will be much cheaper than those already on the market and include a free app that accomplishes everything necessary for users. The delay time of our device will also be much faster than that of our competitors. We are aiming for a delay time of less than 10 seconds while competitors have delays of over 1 minute.
