The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) recently featured TCNJ seniors Daniel Fisher and Klevore Burden in the IEEE Microwave Magazine. The two students received first place in the Photonics Design Contest at the 2013 International Microwave Symposium (IMS). The magazine features a paper on the students’ design for efficient optical to microwave conversion. Fisher is interested in a career in the microwave engineering and fiber-optic communications fields. Burden is interested in a career in electrical engineering.
