Joseph F. Shelley Scholarship

The Joseph F. Shelley Scholarship provides a mechanical engineering student up to $1,000.00 (as specified by the TCNJ Foundation) scholarship for one year. The scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis, and priority will be given to applicants that demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the engineering profession, have demonstrated leadership qualities, have financial need*, and a minimum 3.0 GPA in the major.

To be considered for the award, students must be majoring in Mechanical Engineering and be classified as a Junior or Senior during the year of the award (for example, interested sophomores should apply for their junior year).

If interested in applying for the Joseph F. Shelley Scholarship, include your overall educational and career goals, commitment to and leadership in the engineering profession, and any special circumstances causing financial need* in your application. Academic performance at TCNJ will also be used to select a finalist.

 *In order to demonstrate financial need, the federal financial aid FASFA form needs to be submitted to TCNJ in addition to the application mentioned above.
