NEW Webinar: Masters in iSTEM Education – next Thursday, October 20th!

SAVE THE DATE for Virtual Open House Webinar October 20th at 6 pm 

The School of Engineering is pleased to announce a new MEd i-STEM program. This iSTEM M.Ed. program provides in-service teachers with current, integrative, design-centric teaching and learning methods applicable across PK–12 grade levels. Key features are:

INTEGRATIVE: Emphasis on Integrative (cross-curricular) methods between the STEM components and non-STEM content areas.

DESIGN PEDAGOGIES: Design-centric Project-Based Learning (PBL) methods are covered extensively. These PBL methods enable higher cognitive student engagement, and include highly contextualized settings.

CONTENT AREA KNOWLEDGE: Content in individual STEM areas are covered. Additional NJ State content endorsements may be possible depending on individual’s backgrounds.

PRACTICAL APPROACH: Gives teachers practical skills, including curricular writing, inclusive practices, assessment and deep connections to current educational standards. TCNJ college certificates or NJ State Supervisor certification are also possible.
