The School of Engineering would like to congratulate Alex Spence (Civil Engineering ’15) and Lauren Santullo (Civil Engineering ’17) for receiving scholarships from the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE). The ASHE awards scholarships annually to outstanding students who are from North & Central New Jersey regions. Alex Spence received a scholarship award of $5,000 and Lauren received a scholarship of $3,000. Alex, who is currently a senior, is also in the process of completing his senior project, “The Design of a Rt. 36 Pedestrian Bridge”. Lauren is currently studying abroad in Ireland. The School is proud of Alex’s and Lauren’s hard work and dedication as engineering students, and the great recognition they have brought the School of Engineering and the Civil Engineering Department.
